Responsibilities:

- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients using specialized equipment

- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to alleviate any concerns or anxiety

- Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal images

- Analyze images and provide accurate diagnostic information to healthcare providers

- Collaborate with other members of the medical team to ensure comprehensive patient care

- Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance with established protocols

- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field

- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)

- Proficient knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

- Experience with various ultrasound modalities including abdominal, pelvic, and vascular

- Some familiarity with other medical imaging techniques such as CT, X-Ray, mammography, and PET scans is a plus

- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret images

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
