Ultrasound Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasonographer to join our medical team. As an Ultrasonographer, you will be responsible for performing medical imaging procedures using sonography equipment. Your expertise in diagnostic evaluation and your knowledge of anatomy and physiology will be essential in providing accurate and detailed images for medical diagnosis.

Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients using high-frequency sound waves to produce images of internal organs, tissues, and blood flow
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions or concerns they may have
- Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images
- Operate sonography equipment and adjust settings to optimize image quality
- Analyze images to identify any abnormalities or potential health issues
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate findings
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of documentation
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques

Skills:
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, including sonography
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to ultrasound procedures
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze images for abnormalities or potential health issues
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
