This is an exciting opportunity to join a women's gynecology private practice. You will be a part of and closely working with a large team of sonographers and women's healthcare providers who focus on providing quality care. We are offering a flexible schedule!!
Essential Functions
- Prepares exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography examinations.
- Reviews patient medical history and supporting clinical information.
- Communicates with the patient in a manner appropriate to the patient’s ability to understand.
- Conducts patient clinical assessment and performs the diagnostic medical sonography examination ordered by the supervising physician.
- Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA) and facility policies, and procedures.
- Performs quality control procedures to ensure that the ultrasound equipment operates at optimal levels.
- Works with the appropriate staff to ensure quality patient care. Establishes and maintains collaborative working relationships with co-workers, administrators, and members of the health care team. Fosters a collaborative atmosphere with other members of the healthcare team.
Education:
- B.S. Degree desirable but not required.
- Ultrasound Technologist Certification.
- Maintains current diagnostic medical sonographer registration required for position and complies with Continuing Education (CE) credits. RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) - If not RDMS certified upon hire date, then must achieve such certification within one year of hire.
Experience:
Ideally candidate would have 1 plus years of GYN experience, transvaginal scans, and early OB sonograms in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $39.00 - $55.00 per hour
