Echo/Ultrasound Technician Hempstead, NY
We are looking for an ECHO/US Tech to join our medical practice in Hempstead, NY area. The incoming Ultrasound Tech (RDMS Registered) will be playing a critical role in performing echo cardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. You will work alongside a team of dedicated cardiologists within our multidisciplinary clinic, using your expertise to provide high-quality patient care in a wonderful work environment. We prefer the tech be bilingual in Spanish/English.

Duties:

• Prepare the room/equipment and the patients for examination and scanning
• Assist the patients on and off the tables
• Checking equipment, inventory, and restocking as needed and maintain cleanliness of machines and examination area
• Compile a preliminary report to present to the Cardiologist.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Inspects equipment for wear and tear
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for high quality comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program
• American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification
• Experience and competence in performing echocardiograms preferred
• Strong understanding of cardiac physiology and anatomy
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Schedule:

• Full time

Salary (range):

• $35-$55/hr (depending on experience and qualifications)
