Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm, no holidays, no weekends, no call

Summary:
In this role, the Certified OB/GYN Sonographer will contribute to comprehensive diagnostic imaging services, particularly focusing on First, Second and Third Trimester fetal ultrasounds. Routine GYN sonography exams also performed. This is a Level 1 facility.
Role Responsibilities:
-Perform comprehensive obstetric and gynecological ultrasound examinations, specializing in routine screenings, anatomy scans, and fetal surveillance for IUGR, Gestational Diabetes, -Hypertension. Bio physicals and Umbilical Artery Dopplers routinely performed on a needed basis.
-Evaluate patient medical histories and collaborate with obstetricians and gynecologists to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
-Analyze ultrasound images, identify abnormalities, and provide preliminary findings to facilitate timely and accurate clinical decision-making.
-Educate patients about ultrasound procedures, fostering understanding and ensuring patient comfort during examinations.
-Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any issues for resolution.
-Adhere to established protocols and quality assurance standards, maintaining compliance with legal, ethical, and professional guidelines.
-Maintain accurate records of ultrasound procedures, patient information, and findings in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
