Ukg Hris Specialist

Do you enjoy Human Resources and data analytics? Midwest Motors Group, with an office located in Inver Grove Heights, is looking for a full-time HRIS Specialist (UKG Pro experience needed). With the expansion of our team, you will work closely with onboarding, benefits, and payroll, providing technical support and maintenance of HRIS software (UKG) but also be an integral part of our Human Resource department.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Perform analysis and propose solutions of UKG Pro Software for better efficiency.

· Provide system configuration, workflow, and Open Enrollment configuration in UKG Pro.

· Provide Business Intelligence/People Analytics reporting, custom dashboards and alerts.

· Manage role administration, user access, security permissions, and ensure data confidentiality.

· Manage transfer of data with vendor file feeds or oversee service requests with UKG Pro.

· Provide recommendations on system optimization, and process improvements

· Provide departmental support for background checks and onboarding as well as support to payroll and benefits when needed.

· Cross-train with other members in the department to ensure coverage.

What it takes to succeed:

· Initiative.

· Proven experience with HRIS systems including UKG Pro.

· Technical aptitude for learning new systems and applications.

· Excellent skills using Microsoft Office programs, emphasis on Excel.

· Knowledge of HR processes and practices.

· Strong Problem-solving, research skills, critical thinking, attention to detail, and work ethic.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.

· Experience in the automotive industry a plus.
