Jefferson County Public Defender
Jefferson County is currently seeking a Typist to fill a vacancy in the Public Defender’s office. This position involves responsibility for performing high level clerical duties and administrative support tasks to further the overall operation of the Public Defender’s office. Civil Service exam required for permanent appointment.

Salary Range: $18.66 - $22.00 per hour.

: Either:
(A) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma; OR
(B) One year of clerical experience which involved typing.
