Data Entry Clerk And Typist

Cedar Park Group is looking for a Data Entry Clerk / Typist to help maintain smooth office operations.

Responsibilities:

• Basic clerical duties : Medical filing, medical invoices, fire safety filings
• Types material from copy, rough draft
• Obtains and gives out information by telephone, correspondence and in person
• Operates typewriter, calculator, word processing equipment, and other office machines
• Maintains filing system
• Edits incoming source documents for inclusion of data in required fields.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Proven experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
• Good knowledge of office terminology, procedures and equipment, including standard electronic typewriters and word processing equipment
• Good knowledge of business math and English grammar and usage
• Good knowledge of record keeping; good telephone answering skills
• Ability to speak clearly and distinctly
• Ability to maintain a filing system
• Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Word 7
• Type at least 35 words per minute (wpm) on a five-minute straight timed writing with five errors or less

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $26.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Rochester, NY 14611: Relocate before starting work (Required)
