Immediate need for a Senior Treasury Analyst in the Fort Lauderdale area. The Senior Treasury Analyst will support all aspects of cash management, forecasting, and reporting and analysis. This includes both short- and long-term planning and execution of cash management strategies.
This position assists with day-to-day cash management, and weekly, monthly, and quarterly debt reporting. The position also maintains relationships with the Company’s banking partners. The professional will work closely with various functional areas – including; Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Corporate Finance, Legal and General Accounting.
Duties
- Perform cash flow analysis and forecasting to ensure optimal utilization of funds
- Monitor and manage daily cash positions and liquidity needs
- Prepare and review journal entries related to treasury activities
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement treasury strategies
- Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) regulations and internal controls
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in treasury or related financial roles
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in PeopleSoft or similar ERP systems
- Experience with cash flow analysis and forecasting techniques
- Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations is a plus
- Prior experience in public accounting is highly desirable
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
