Requirements
- Install, maintain, or repair Security, Nurse call, Fire Alarm, Access Control, CCTV systems.
- Follow blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.
- Proficient of installation methods of equipment racks, cable tray and other cable support systems.
- Knowledge of industry testing equipment- OTDR, Fluke, Etc.
- Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolve basic network related problems.
- Evaluate upcoming tasks and anticipate equipment and material needs.
- Perform structured cabling (Cat5 and Cat6), fiber optic installation, and terminations and repair functions.
- Ensure OSHA rules and company safety regulation are met.
- Thorough knowledge of all mechanical, electrical plumbing and low-voltage systems.
- General understanding of Building Codes, Mechanical Codes, Electrical Codes and Plumbing Codes as they relate to construction of project
- Ability to work in a large team environment with a problem-solving, project-first mentality
- Determination to take control and achieve results in identifying issues, reaching resolution and communicating with all team members to ensure work is installed properly the first time
- OSHA, NICET, BICSI certifications a plus.
Pay Range:
- $25 - $30
