Job Description
Tech 1: Minimum 6 months of Low voltage experience
Experience with Low voltage installations in commercial buildings
Base knowledge of general construction
Experience reading and understanding blue prints
Experience working on cross-disciplinary, cross-functional teams to achieve success
Proficient in Office 365, Bluebeam, and other computer and phone-app related tools
Fluency in English (both written & verbal)
½” coax cable prep tools, category cable RJ45 crimper, HILTI powder-actuated tools experience
Basic hand, power tools (Screwdriver, torque wrench, crimper, hammer drill, circular/jig saw) experience
Tech 2: Minimum 1 year of commercial security installation and integration experience
Experience with networking protocols, LAN/WAN concepts, and TCP/IP networking
6 months experience working on commercial Security Products (ex: Software House / Open Options / Ademco / Bosch / AMAG / S2 / Avigilon / ONSSI, etc.)
Tech 3: Minimum 2 years of commercial security installation and integration experience
Experience with networking protocols, LAN/WAN concepts, and TCP/IP networking
1 year experience working on commercial Security Products (ex: Software House / Open Options / Ademco / Bosch / AMAG / S2 / Avigilon / ONSSI, etc.)
Must be able to work on ladders and use power tools; ability to lift/carry/setup a 50 pound box or ladder
Must own Low voltage tools, snips, cable strippers, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.
Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift and overtime as needed; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Must pass 7 year criminal background check and must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and current automobile insurance
High School diploma, or equivalent
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associates Degree/Technical School degree
Installation Certification or Security Product Certifications (ex: Software House / Open Options / Ademco / Bosch / AMAG / S2 / Avigilon / ONSSI, etc.)
