Job Title:Low Voltage Technician
Location: Denver, Colorado
Pay Range: $20-$25/hr DOE
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled, reliable and detail-oriented Low Voltage Technician to join our team in Denver, Colorado. As a Low Voltage Technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Low Voltage systems, including security, surveillance, telecommunications, and audio-visual systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Low Voltage systems, including security cameras, access control, intercoms, and telecommunications equipment.
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to assess their Low Voltage system needs and provide expert recommendations.
- Run Low Voltage cabling, terminate connections, and ensure proper integration of equipment and components.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with Low Voltage systems, identifying and implementing effective solutions.
- Program and test Low Voltage systems to ensure they operate efficiently and meet client specifications.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Low Voltage technology, standards, and regulations.
- Work in compliance with safety guidelines and ensure the safe operation of Low Voltage systems.
- Provide training and guidance to clients and end-users on the operation of Low Voltage systems.
Qualifications (including relevant experience):
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Low Voltage systems, including security, surveillance, telecommunications, and audio-visual systems.
- Proficiency in the installation and maintenance of CAT5, CAT6, and other Low Voltage cabling.
- Familiarity with Low Voltage equipment and components.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
