Responsibilities:
- Provides service to all aspects of the day-to-day travel operations, including ticketing and booking functions, management of unused tickets, discounts, and customer information desk.
- Is an integral part of the delivery of the service and ensures transportation scheduling is in accordance with corporate & project policies and procedures. Administers on-line booking systems.
- Performs hotel communications and verifications through email and PDF management
- Provides standard and ad hoc reporting to management as directed.
- Assist in spreadsheet generation and maintenance for reconciliations
- Under general direction, reviews administrative functions for accuracy and effectiveness within a specialized function
- Performs complex assignments and fulfills broad responsibilities where compulsory outcomes are defined, but methods and procedures may vary based on judgment or precedent.
- Assists in coordinating the work of others on assignments.
Experience & Skills:
- Skills required for this position are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 2+ years of experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
- Previous experience with a proprietary travel database is preferred.
- Prior experience facilitating travel on a LOGCAP III or IV project is preferred.
- Prior experience reconciling extensive or ongoing reports is preferred.
- Must be able work in high volume environment.
- Must be available to work a staggered schedule that includes weekend hours.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to work with confidential information.
- Candidates must possess intermediate or higher skills working with Client Excel and Access databases.
