YCS is seeking a full time Transportation Coordinator to join our team!
The primary purpose of this position is to direct and manage cost of owned and leased vehicles. Ensure efficient operations of all vehicles in the fleet and monitor vehicle usage.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure fleet vehicles are compliant with all NJ safety laws and regulations.
- Responsible for state inspection on all owned vehicles, and coordinating inspection for leased vehicles.
- Responsible for distributing up to date insurance information.
- May be required to provide light mechanic services
- Provide training to new hires with transport responsibilities in YCS policies and forms specific to transportation.
- Attend (virtually) new hire training for vehicle safety presentation.
- Monitor usage of vehicles, including reviewing and responding to EZPASS exceptions, insurance claims, GPS tracking, and safety violations.
- Advise program directors of violations.
- Track and trend violations for training purposes.
- Report to SVP and/or COO issues.
- Coordinate vehicle acquisition for fleet needs.
- Prepare annual needs assessment with vendor.
- Manage and monitor the fuel program.
- Design and manage the vehicle routine maintenance and safety program.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years mechanic apprenticeship requested
- Valid Driver License
