Appliance Delivery And Installation Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking 5-10 experienced individuals for the roles of Appliance Delivery and Installation Specialists in our Edison, Carteret, Cherry Hill, and Trenton, NJ warehouse locations. Each team comprises a driver and a helper, responsible for delivering and installing appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, and microwaves.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a non-CDL 26ft box truck.
• Deliver and install appliances, including washers, dryers, refrigerators, and microwaves.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the Delivery and Installation process.
• Manage daily routes and schedules efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Appliance Delivery and Installation.
• For drivers: Ability to drive a non-CDL 26ft box truck.
• Excellent knowledge of installation procedures for various home appliances.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to use a mobile phone for navigation and communication.
• Availability to work early morning shifts (starting 5-6 AM), with finish times dependent on team efficiency (usually by 4-5 PM).
• Open to working 10-12 stops per day with Monday to Sunday availability.

Compensation:

• Competitive daily flat rate, paid in cash.
• Direct deposit available.
• Pay rate commensurate with experience and role (driver/helper).

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently deliver products to customers on assigned routes
- Load and unload delivery vehicles using forklifts or other equipment as necessary
- Follow delivery schedules and ensure timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating delivery vehicles

Skills:
- Excellent driving skills with a valid driver's license
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members
- Experience driving vans, forklifts, tractor-trailers, or refrigerated trailers is a plus
- Strong customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction during deliveries
- Proficiency in route driving and navigating through various locations
- Ability to operate vehicles with manual transmission if required
- Capable of lifting heavy objects and performing physical tasks as needed

Pay: $184.85 - $196.58 per day
