Job Description
This is a full-time, non-exempt level position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process LTL and/or truckload invoices in various systems: Paper, EDI, Web, Maximo/Coupa
- Responsible for averaging freight payments within 15-30 days
- Maintain working relationships with contracted carriers
- Run and review various error reports on a weekly basis
- Manage incoming calls regarding open freight and past dues on accounts
- Work with various Business Units to resolve rate, invoicing, and system discrepancies
- Prioritize daily work to keep carrier accounts within pay terms
- Work with GBS MDM team to confirm vendors are up to date and active
- Collaborate with Truck Traffic and Logistics Coordinators to ensure loads meet system requirements
- Review and add accessorials to Sugar, Oil, and Ethanol logs weekly
- Address emails and aging reports from carriers in a timely manner
- Sort and process incoming mail
- Scan and save documents
Job Requirements:
- H.S. diploma or GED required plus minimum of 2 years equivalent general office/accounting experience preferred
- Excellent data entry, keyboard, multi-line telephone and ten key skills
- Basic understanding of mathematical/accounting procedures is required
- Attention to detail and the ability to locate discrepancies are essential for this position
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Knowledge of Maximo, OPGO, CICS, and IMS systems preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required
