The Transportation Coordinator'soverall objective is toensure thattransportationservicesare carried out in compliancewith Woodwardguidelines.TheCoordinatoroversees transportation staff and third-party vendors toensure safe transport of campers, staff and VIP's. TheTransportation Coordinatorshows a high level of customer and is committed to resolvingchallenges for all departmentsaround the clock and can perform under pressure.

BASIC SCHEDULE/REQUIREMENTS:
- As a requirement of this position, pre-hire criminal history clearances are collected from the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH) system, child abuse clearances are obtained through the Department of Public Welfare, and federal history is taken through FBI fingerprint screening.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records check
- Safely drive a 15 passenger van
- Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50lbs.
- Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations,and guidelines
- Must be comfortable working in an outdoor all-season environment.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, evenings year-round

- Preferred 12-week commitment withinSummercamp season (June 5th - August 27th)
- Staff Housing and three daily meals are provided as part of employment
- Provide work related references upon request
Job Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Manage around the clock coverage for transportation and emergency services
- Maintain radiocommunicationusing camp directedprotocolandetiquette
- Financial organization of department expenses
- Hire, train,and developa team ofdriverseach week,to ensuretransportation services are executed to Woodward standards
- OversightofTransportationAssistant and10-12driverseach week
- Lead by example to guests and co-workers,creating positive and inspiring environment
- Work in direction from medical staff to coordinate emergency medical transportation
- Oversee allincoming and departing campers,staff, andguestVIPtransportation services
- Maintainand assist in scheduling guestreservations and space availability
- Organize anddeliverunaccompanied minortravel, coordinatingwith parents and airport staff
- Work directly with medical staff to provideemergency medicaltransportation needs for campers,staffand VIP guests
- Supportive runs for essential supplies
- Maintain safe,cleanand professional camp vehicles
- Maintainthe pre-season andweekly vehicle maintenance log,andschedulenecessary maintenance bythird-party vendors
- Arrange for leased vehicles and prepare leased vehicles for pick up at the end of the season
- Other duties as assigned
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Guestor Hospitality service preferred
- Must have customerserviceexperience
- High school degree or equivalent preferred
- Health and Safety Certifications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, comfortable presenting and deploying new technologies
- Demonstrated broad technical knowledge ofmanagement techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments, to work as part of a team
