Transformer Service Training Manager

General Information:

Hitachi Energy, located in Earth City, MO, is seeking a Transformer Service Training Manager. This position will, with limited supervision, perform duties that involve or relate to Transformer Service Training, hands on, creating training material, leading training development, and tracking training technician progress. This position will make recommendations to improve effectiveness of the training program and help to implement new training material.

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage transformer field Service Training program.
• Provide hands on training to transformer technicians in Earth City location.
• Document technician training results.
• Track training progress for field technicians.
• Develop training program for transformer field service technicians.
• Train on all aspects of transformer field service including, assembly, internal work, operation of oil processing equipment.
• Recommend future training needs including equipment, training space, and resources needed.
• Assist in coordinating safety training events for field service technicians  
• Assist in root cause analysis problem solving.

Your Background:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• 15 Years of experience in various areas of transformer field service
• Strong experience in hands on transformer field service.
• Ability to teach others effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft office products, (word, excel, power point)
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Must have strong communication skills to teach and coach others effectively.
