Transfer Manager

The Transfer Manager SMO is responsible for the management of the transfer process in alignment with HQ for all transfers in SMO markets. The Transfer Manager works cross functionally with SMO Development team and Operations to ensure all processes, procedures and legal requirements are followed.
Essential Duties
Assist and reinforce business procedures and policies and manage risk with contracts, legal and finance as needed. Identify and solve transfer complications utilizing contract management and franchising experience.

Evaluate opportunities and provide recommendations to improve the SMO transfer process in conjunction with transfer team at HQ. Educate internal SMO teams on transfer process to support and guide FO to set expectations and timing. Make recommendations for process improvement. Provide training on transfer process and expectations to cross functional team to allow team to set expectations and assist FO with the process.

Evaluate submitted transfers from franchisee submission through entry into Franchise Development Gateway. Manage transfer scheduling, training and closing requirements process Make cross functional recommendations that drive the overall market optimization plan.

Enforce policies and procedures to reduce time for transfer approvals where appropriate and possible. 10%
Skills and Abilities
Must have a positive attitude, be self-motivating, and have excellent time management and communication skills, good relationship building skills, flexible and detail oriented.
Experience with complicated entity structures and ability to navigate processes to drive transactions to completion.
Ability to work with a diverse group of people and experience leading cross functional decision making.
Experience in Franchising and Franchise Sales.
Contract Management experience.
Preferred: Experience managing Transfer process in franchise organization and franchising laws
