As our portfolio continues to grow, so does our Training & Development Team! Mark-Taylor is hiring a Training & Development Specialist!
As a Training Specialist, you will work primarily out of our Corporate Office located in the McCormick Ranch neighborhood of Scottdale, Arizona. You will travel as needed to our various communities and throughout the Phoenix valley. You will work closely with our operational leaders to create Standard Operating Processes (SOPs) and facilitate trainings.
You're Excited About This Role Because You Will:
Serve as an instructor/facilitator to deliver engaging in-person classes, courses, programs and/or train-the-trainer.
Design and develop training courses (in-person and online) and materials
Partner closely with Business Leaders and relevant stakeholders to assess needs, develop learning solutions, and deliver training to improve the performance of individuals, teams, and leaders across the organization, in order to deliver our MT 5-Star experiences.
Maintain records on the learning management system to ensure efficient delivery of training, error-free reporting, and a 5-star learner experience for all employees.
Utilize the department’s email inbox effectively to provide excellent service to employees, stakeholders and vendors.
Plan and coordinate end-to-end necessary activities, such as scheduling, room booking, food ordering, to ensure excellent delivery of in-person training.
Create and run engagement campaigns to create momentum and connectivity across the organization.
Develop learner assessment instruments, maintaining documentations and curriculums, ensuring employees have acquired the necessary abilities post-training.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments, internal and external stakeholders for on-going training and development and overall employee engagement and retention efforts.
Support the building of structures, policies, and workflows to ensure that all training and development initiatives are impactful and best-in-class.
Participate in various initiatives and projects as requested.
Effectively communicate and drive brand values and philosophy through all human resources, and training and development activities.
We're Excited to Meet You! Ideally, You Will Bring:
Deep understanding of maintenance processes and workflows,
1 year of experience working in a service or administrative role within a multifamily setting.
College degree in a related field preferred.
Superior oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey messages to a broad range of audiences.
Strong collaboration skills working with multiple different types of people to achieve desired results.
Technology skills required for various documentation, including preparing spreadsheets, presentations, organizational charts, as well as MS Office, and other related systems

The salary range for Training Specialist is $60,000-$70,000 commensurate with experience.
