ODNR owns and manages state parks, state forests, state nature preserves and wildlife areas. We license all hunting, fishing and watercraft; oversee and permit all mineral extraction, monitor dam safety, manage water resources and serve as the second largest Law Enforcement presence in the State of Ohio.

We are accepting applications for a Training Program Manager within the Office of Human Resources, headquartered at Fountain Square in Franklin County. What you will do:

  • Develop & administer agency Training Programs;
  • Direct & oversee learning resources;
  • Certify student achievement;
  • Supervise assigned staff

Starting hourly pay of $35.74/hr. with multiple pay increases over your first 7 years of service and an ending salary of $51.03/hr.

Qualifications

Completion of undergraduate core program in business or public administration, human resources or related field, or adult education AND 2 yrs. exp. in teaching/presenting adult education or human resources training & development classes, or in developing adult education curriculum or access to educational partners/vendors providing adult education AND 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in operating personal computer & use of office systems software (e.g., Microsoft Word; Access; Excel; Power Point).
  • Or completion of undergraduate core program in business or public administration, human resources or related field, or adult education AND 2 yrs. managerial or supervisory exp. in adult education or human resources field AND 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in operating personal computer & use of office systems software (e.g., Microsoft Word; Access; Excel; Power Point).

  • Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications noted above.
