Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Safety and Training Coordinator to join our team. The Safety and Training Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs from onboarding to process improvements and OJT, coordinating training sessions, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct safety training related to new hire onboarding, re-training after risk events and annual OSHA compliance.
- Manage Training coordination and database
- Participation on Safety Committee and Operations Team initiatives
- Conduct shop floor orientation and onboarding for new employees to include needs assessments through 30/60/90 day reviews. Perform or coordinate the necessary retraining and followup.
- Work with Management to provide input during the probationary employees’ evaluations regarding the progress of training and offer recommendations on continued employment or additional training.
- Verify employee adherence to established safe work practices and manufacturing processes.
- Conduct annual operator training needs assessments for all Production employees noting any deficiencies or areas for concern. Perform the necessary re-training and follow-up.
- Lead the periodically established training meetings and obtain updates on employee development progression.
- Review work instructions to ensure that improvements, revisions, or new developments are included. Develop completely new work instructions if/when necessary as well.
- Conduct or coordinate forklift/crane training
