- Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) for all divisions:
- Upload courses and curriculum, manage role assignments, maintain training schedules, and the resolve technical issues with access, course content, etc.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate content, learner access, assignments, and structure
- Manage training team reporting and administration:
- Create and maintain training records such as courses, curriculum, and compliance.
- Create, maintain, and track calendars, timelines, and training bonus information.
- Collect, compile, and report on the results of evaluations, attendance, and training data.
- Coordinate Training and store operations logistics including, but is not limited to:
- Partner with others to gather key information needed to coordinate Training and Communications needs.
- Coordinate and communicate logistics for training classes and store operations events, including schedules, location, room, food, materials, equipment, and registration.
- Prepare agendas and book meetings including company conference and travel arrangements.
- Order, prepare, store, and distribute Training and store operations materials and supplies.
- Participating in training material edits, updates and creation as requested.
- Updating orientation and onboarding materials and facilitating these in the corporate setting.
- Participating in continuous improvement efforts:
- Seek opportunities to continuously improve Training and operations processes, communications, and deliverables.
- Document training tasks and standard operating processes for training, operational, and communication needs.
- Manage the communication on the company intranet (The PAW) to insure engaging and timely communication to our teams.
- Coordinate the monthly all team member meeting for the headquarters team (Pet Central)
PAWsome Training & Communications Coordinator Candidates will have:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years’ experience, preferably working with organizational learning or training.
- Strong knowledge of online collaboration tools, ideally Absorb.
- Experience maintaining online learning a plus.
- Knowledge of curriculum/course development, adult learning and evaluation principles a plus.
- eLearning/instructional design software (Captivate, Presenter, Adobe Connect, Webinar applications, etc.) preferred.
- Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet required deadlines.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving.
- Exceptional communication skills, to include verbal, written, and proofing and editing skills.
- Strong service orientation.
- Excellent skills with MS Office 365 programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access).
