Your Responsibilities

As part of our dynamic team, you will perform Traffic Engineering tasks for a wide variety of projects ranging in size and scope. Projects will require working with a multidisciplinary team of planners, engineers, and technicians and will range from traffic studies to signing, pavement marking, signal design, and maintenance of traffic as well as design/construction documents.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • The ideal candidate will have 4-10 years of experience involving Traffic Engineering.
  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Progressing towards licensure, or possessing a PE license in the State of Ohio.
  • Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with the Highway Capacity Manual, Highway Safety Manual, ITE Trip Generation Manual, Roadside Design Guide, AASHTO "Green Book," and/or roadway design and highway lighting experience is a plus.
  • Must have experience in OpenRoads Designer, Microstation and/or AutoCAD.
  • Knowledgeable in other software tools such as HCS, Transmodeler, and/or Synchro/SimTraffic is strongly desired.
  • Experience with VISSIM, SIDRA, SignCAD, and AutoTurn are a plus.
  • Also, experience with Ohio agencies, including ODOT, is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, good organizational skills, and enjoy working in a team environment.
