If you’re a passionate and motivated individual looking to kickstart your career as a Civil Engineer, we want you to join our Traffic team. EMH&T is currently looking for a n enthusiastic Traffic Engineer Intern with exceptional communication and analytical skills to work collaboratively with CAD Technicians, Engineers and other professionals to support private and public clients. You will work under the mentorship of a Traffic Engineer or PM who will coach and guide you throughout your career development. You will participate in the creation of plan drawings and calculations. You will have the opportunity to be responsible for portions of projects and will typically be involved in multiple projects at the same time providing you with a wide diversity of experience. You will be guided on how to apply your engineering education to practical design solutions. Projects may include transportation engineering design, traffic control, signal system design, lighting design and studies planning and analysis, and will perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in CIVIL ENGINEERing. Prior work experience, including internships or co-op experiences in civil, construction, or a related area and exposure to engineering consulting firm environment; and familiarity with AutoCAD or similar software to develop work plans, preferred.
