Role description:
Instinet is looking for candidates to join its Algo Service team. This role sits in the front office & will be a specialist in equity electronic workflows. The Algo Service team works closely with coverage as well as product teams on electronic flow monitoring for algos+SOR, responding to any anomalies in algo behavior, strategy/parameter customization as well as algo verification. This role will effectively communicate algo behavior expectations with internal partners as well as clients, monitor for & investigate potential issues, collate feedback into product teams & actively assist in recovery to ensure clients have a seamless trading experience.
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
- Knowledgeable in algorithmic stacks
- Expertise in Equity Market Microstructure
- Knowledgeable in Excel, Python and SQL.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar area
