Leading Investment Bank

Ability to understand and assist co-workers with booking trades for derivative products such as:
oInterest Rate Swaps & Forward Rate agreements (FRA's)
oOptions & Swaptions (Caps, Floors, Digital and Bermudan options)
oExotic products (Range Accruals, Spread Options) a benefit (not required)
oU.S. Treasury & Agency securities
oFutures, Options on futures
oForeign exchange and Forward FX
oCredit Derivatives

 Ability to understand and set up reference data required to support the Interest Rate Derivatives Business:

Yield curves, pricing models, option terminology                                                                                          

Ability to read through and understand term sheets and confirmations created for each structure

Understand system P/L process and basic P/L decomposition for products and systems used

Responsible for the integrity of all curve data, pricing of instruments, trade booking, trade maintenance and appropriate reconciliations

Completion of the EOD process including completeness and reconciliation checks

Analyze trading patterns and behaviors to the support business and to help identify/escalate potential fraudulent or unusual trading activity and escalate suspected issues

Adhere to the escalation profile as outlined for the function. Use sound judgment and escalate any incidence that does not fit on the escalation matrix.                                                                                  

Contribute to the documentation of all new products or structures relating to the area (including NPAPs)
Trade Support and Customer Service:

Close liaison with the trading floor to ensure the timely and efficient resolution of trader queries

Seen as valued advisor and technical expert

Support and enhance external customer relationships

Ensure appreciation of different support requirements for Traders, Salespersons, and infrastructure
Trade Reporting

Facilitate Dodd Frank and EMIR trade reporting for OTC Rates and Credit Products 

Work with Legal, Compliance, and the business to analyze and propose solutions to maintain compliance with regulation.

Suggest, design and implement any process or technology improvements that would decrease risk and increase efficiency

Be aware of changes in market trends, legislation and firm policies. Work with group manager on implementing any required changes.

Knowledge of Markitwire, BBG and Excel

Knowledge of Options/Swaps, ideally exposure to rates markets, financial trading environment

Experience with trade booking and reconciling
