As a Product Manager in Trade and Working Capital, Supply Chain Finance (SCF), you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

Job responsibilities

  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Global roll-out of Supply Chain Finance digital platforms & solutions
  • Independently provide Supply Chain Finance Product leadership and guidance to internal and external clients
  • Drive currency and country expansion - ensure country nuances are implemented appropriately; lead the due diligence process and ensure new currencies are implemented smoothly in addition to ensuring SOPs are in place along with adequate SCF Product risk controls - KYP & KYC
  • Work closely with counterparts in other regions to coordinate activities that involve multi-regional engagement
  • Facilitate requests and inquiries with cross functional partners in Client Service, Operations, Middle Office, Program Management, Sales and others
  • Identify process deficiencies, business risks, and escalate accordingly within the Risk and Control framework
  • Execute annual P&L review for Supply Chain Finance. Regional ownership and active participation in the monthly P&L reviews. Achieve fixed and variable expense efficiencies, reduce supplier and buyer on-boarding timeline, operational losses at a negligible level

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • In-depth knowledge of the North American markets and the specifics of each jurisdiction, especially the United States and Canadian markets
  • Familiarity with other external platforms (Fintechs, CRM Platforms - Salesforce) and exposure to UI/process design
  • Exposure to invoice discounting and structuring models is desired but not a requirement
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • College degree level education, preferred
  • Previous client facing role is preferred
  • Robust organizational, analytical and multi-tasking abilities, project management and attention to detail
