Role
Tower Maintenance Operations is responsible for managing external resources (vendors and general contractors) in the efficient maintenance and operation on all tower, rooftop and key essential assets in accordance with Company policies and standards. The intern role will support the overall review and analysis of our vendors to ensure expectations are satisfactorily met.
Responsibilities
- Conduct midyear review of contracted vegetation vendors to ensure contractual obligations are met in accordance with Crown Castle expectations.
- Identify and provide evidence of differences and discrepancies.
- Quantify associated expenses relative to the differences and discrepancies.
- Assist teammates in creating formats and templates for reporting and data visualization.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain throughout the evaluation of the vegetation vendors to ensure alignment of how to proceed with findings.
- Present findings to Maintenance Operations Management
Expectations
- Collaboration with Maintenance Process Managers and Supply Chain to fully understand the vegetation contracts, supporting documentation evidencing work completed and resulting billing process.
- Effective communication between teammates and manager.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to present information in a clear format.
Education/Certifications
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student in pursuit of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited higher education institution with an expected graduation date between December 2024 and June 2026
- Preferred field(s) of study: Business, Finance, Construction Management
Experience/Minimum Requirements
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) from June 3 to August 9, 2024
- Authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time, regular basis without additional sponsorship
Reports to: Manager, Maintenance Operations
Work Plans: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office on Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home.
