Job Summary:
The Country Club Operations Internwill receive hands-on training and experience with Country Club events in coordination with F&B Operations and management. They will work primarily in Banquets and the on-site Clubhouse Restaurant, making the first impression for guests by extending a warm and friendly smile, while learning various roles within the operations function such as Banquet & Restaurant Serving, Set-up, Member Events, FOH and BOH coordination and overall functionality and execution. They will also work closely with the Club Operations Manager to learn about Operational management by attending Management Meetings to include the Country Club Ops Meeting and the BEO (Banquet Event Order) meetings. At the end of the internship, they will understand how all Operations departments coordinate to maximize details and overall member/guest satisfaction.

Operational Management Functions
- Attend BEO and Ops Meetings to understand goals and objectives as related to details necessary for event coordination between various departments.
- Understand the planning structure and execution involved in operations from beginning to end
- Work closely with the Club Operations Manager to understand management responsibilities.
- Integrate yourself fully within the team to understand the various roles within operations.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must have your own transportation.
- Possess a basic knowledge of excellent service standards as well as etiquette.
- Ability to work well under pressure, dealing with many arrivals and departures within a short period of time.
- Available to work weekends, evening shifts and major holidays (Easter, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, along with other special events from time to time)
- Mandatory compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, policies, and rules
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Always arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance.
- Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, carrying, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
- Able to lift to 25 pounds without assistance and more than 50 pounds with assistance.
- Must be able to multitask several different actions at once.
