The opportunity
Embark on a future with an international pharmaceuticals company, contributing your creative energy to high-impact projects from the moment you arrive through the course of this 12-week experience. You will take part in meaningful work and real-life projects that will help you grow both professionally and personally throughout the program.
Location: West Chester, PA
Length: minimum of 12 weeks (May 20 - August 9th)
Schedule: You must be available to work a 40-hour work week on site/hybrid mode for 12 weeks
How you’ll spend your day
• During the 12-week rotational program, you will learn the basics of clinical trial management including: vendor oversight, operational execution best practices, electronic trial master file maintenance and clinical trial site management, including pharmacy manual training materials for clinical sites. The program will maximize your exposure to different study phases and aspects of managing clinical trials within Teva Global Clinical Operations. Specifically, the intern will gain experience in the following groups:
o Clinical Supply (2 weeks)
o Pharmacokinetics US and Clinical Pharmacology Operations (2 weeks)
o Generic and Biosimilar (2 weeks)
o Innovative Medicines (2 weeks)
o Global Clinical Operations Strategy, Systems, and Business Operations (2 weeks)
• Supported by a mentor and experienced colleagues, you will be directly involved in our daily business and be assigned tasks within diverse projects. You will also have the opportunity to present a lunch and learn of your choice within the Clinical Operations department.
• Intern would be required to develop a decent level of knowledge and understanding of good clinical and manufacturing practices.
Your experience and qualifications
• Experience and/or interest in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical or health-care industry
• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate, ideally in a nursing or pharmacy discipline with a good academic standing within your program with an accumulated GPA of at least 3.0
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Candidates are required to live within a commutable distance of West Chester, Pennsylvania
• Interns are required to be able to work May 20th - August 9th
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and curiosity about drug development in biotech industry
• Desire to learn
