Pay Range: $60,000.00 to $90,000.00

Job Responsibilities: As the Tourism Development Manager, your duties will include:

• Collaborating with local organizations, government bodies, and senior leaders to drive engagement and tourism in the Palatka area.
• Providing strategic leadership to develop and implement initiatives that promote tourism and economic growth.
• Working closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for partnerships and collaboration.
• Developing and executing marketing strategies to attract visitors and enhance the visitor experience.
• Monitoring and analyzing tourism trends and economic indicators to inform decision-making.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including political leaders, business owners, and community members.
• Managing budgets and ensuring efficient use of resources to achieve tourism goals.
• Overseeing outreach efforts to engage with tourists and promote local attractions and events.

Qualifications: To qualify for this role, you should have:

• Bachelor's Degree in business administration, marketing, tourism management, or a related field (Required)
• Advanced Degree (Preferred)
• Project Management Experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of marketing, business, politics, community outreach, and economics
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• General Computer Skills Required
