SalaryLincoln Tech, a post-secondary vocational school in Grand Prairie, TX is looking for a responsible Tool Room Attendant, who will be in charge of the inventory and general upkeep. You would keep an inventory of all tools and make sure that safety regulations are followed.
Key Qualifications
- Attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and a passion for quality
- Experience with asset control and general maintenance
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
Responsibilities
- Secure all of the contents of the shop at the beginning and at the end of the shift
- Perform a walk-through of the shop at the beginning and end of each shift, making sure that all contents are clean and secure
- Distribute tools and other items, based on the school guidelines
- Check equipment back in, ensuring that all accessories checked out with auxiliary equipment (cables, adaptors, power supplies, chips, keys, extension cords, etc.) are accounted for
- Keep the consumable supplies stocked
- Advise the supervisor of needed materials
- Perform other building upkeep and preventative maintenance tasks as assigned
- Complete a regular inventory of the Tool Room in a written report
- High school diploma or GED
- Great communication skills
- Proficient in technology
- High school diploma/GED
