Responsibilities:
Toolmaker will fabricate, repair, and maintain precision tools, dies, and molds
Toolmaker will build plastic injection molds, blow molds, and compression molds
Toolmaker will interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Toolmaker will set up and operate a variety of machine tools and equipment.
Toolmaker will inspect tools and dies for quality and precision.
Toolmaker will troubleshoot and resolve tooling and die-related issues.
Toolmaker will collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize tool and die designs.
Toolmaker will maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements:
Candidate must have at least 3 years of tool and die making experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
Candidate must have experience crafting molds, tools, and dies
Candidates must have a strong knowledge of machining and heat treatment
Candidates must be computer savvy with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Candidates with a trade school diploma or completion of an apprenticeship program preferred
