Mission Statement:
To design, build, and continuously improve custom tooling and fixtures for Machining, Assembly, and Engineering areas in the OPW Retail Fueling manufacturing space.
Shift: 1st
Hours: Monday through Friday, 5:45 am until 2:15 pm
Responsibilities:
- Safely operates manual and CNC machining tools, metal saws, drills, and grinding equipment to build and repair tools, dies, fixtures, and testing equipment
- Work from 2D and 3D models to produce tools and fixtures
- Develop programs for CNC machines using Mastercam software, G-code, and/or Conversational programming as needed to support tool-making
- Assemble and repair tooling as required
- Recommends new methods, tools, and equipment for Tool Room and manufacturing cells
- Collaborates with engineering, production, and outside suppliers to solve problems
- Other activities as required
Requirements:
- CNC Machining Cert or 10 years equivalent experience
- 10 years experience w/manual and CNC machining
- 5 years experience with Master CAM or similar high level CAD/CAM package
- Willing to work OT/Weekends
- Willing to comply w/all safety policies
- Lift 50lbs
- Okay with moderate to heavy physical activity
- Okay with weather extremes
- Willing to wear all required PPE
