The position of Tool Warehouse Supervisor supports the project teams throughout the local region. This position is responsible for providing a wide array of shop and warehouse support for the field and general facilities support for operations. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the shop Material Handler team, typically 1-10 (but can be more) and the Assistant Warehouse Supervisor.
- First tier response to field calls and email requests.
- Dispatch and schedule driver deliveries and runs.
- Purchase, maintain, and manage safety equipment for field, warehouse, and vehicles.
- Facilitate and assist with all reasonable requests for tools and/or supplies. If outside the Tool Department’s purview, pass the request to the appropriate department and follow up to confirm the request has been completed.
- Assist with Fleet and Facility requests within the respective region as needed.
- Continuously develop knowledge of trade tools (specs, use, safe handling, and purpose).
- Assist personnel in proper equipment selection via clarification of end use.
- Maintain current working knowledge of EEW requirements and procedures.
- Fulfill tool requisitions in a timely manner for field personnel, track delivery and logistics.
- Maintain active jobsite tool inventory, operate and maintain the ToolWatch program, assist personnel in tool selection for projects, maintain records of all tool transfers.
- Manage assets that require inspection and/or calibration on regular intervals and repair tools as needed.
- Audit, log and file tool transaction tickets.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
This position has a supervisory responsibility of the Assistant Tool Warehouse Supervisor in addition to 1-10 Material Handlers and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: interviewing, hiring and training, planning, assigning, directing work, performance appraisals, reward and discipline of employees, addressing complaints, and problem resolution.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and four to six years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in industrial electric supply or sales is preferred.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
