TLC Chaplain
TLC Management is looking for a full time chaplain to join our team by helping to support initiatives that lead to positve impact on employee engagement, morale and retention. This position will be not only provide spiritual services to TLC, but also leading the Facility Staff Chaplains within TLC Managed Facilities.
This includes:
- Advising, counseling and supporting employees and their families on spiritual or other matters as needed;
- Providing spiritual/other support, advice and counseling to the employees and facility staff when needed;
- Recruiting facility chaplains for each TLC Managed facility;
- Develop, implement and ongoing management of the facility Staff Chaplain/Life Coach Program;
- Making floor rounds to check on employees and let them know that that spiritual care services life coaching is available;
- Interviewing and counseling employees who require or request spiritual counseling services;
- Acting as liaison between residents, families, resident’s representatives and facility staff;
- Conducting religious services for TLC at minimum weekly and TLC Managed Facilities as requested;
- Sending facility visit reports;
- Visiting employees who are in the hospital;
- Participating in TLC Management Team Meetings and HR Engagement Meetings and initiatives as requested;
- Participating in TLC Management Leadership Trainings and Annual Conference;
- Assuming accountability for all data contained in the employees’ handbook;
- Submitting an all expenses and mileage incurred to the performance of the chaplain duties monthly;
- Being available by telephone for special problems that may develop between visits or as may be needed by employees;
- Creating and maintaining an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the facility;
- Maintaining the confidentiality of all employees to ensure their privacy and property are always protected;
- Reporting and documenting employee, resident and/or visitor incidents, accidents, complaints, or allegations according to the facility’s policy and procedure using the designated occurrence reporting system; &
- Performing other duties as assigned by the CEO or VP of HR.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Professional Chaplain Certification or higher education in theology or related field.
