Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Contract Tier 2 Help Desk Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment, providing critical support to our diverse range of clients. You will be at the forefront of our operations, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and ensuring our clients can continue to operate smoothly. This role requires a strong technical acumen, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep commitment to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide Tier 2 technical support to our clients, resolving complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Utilize Service Desk tools to log, track, and manage incidents, ensuring all issues are resolved in accordance with our service level agreements.
3. Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
4. Provide Desktop Support, assisting clients with a range of software and hardware issues.
5. Manage and maintain Microsoft Office 365 environments, including user and license management, configuration, and troubleshooting.
6. Utilize Active Directory to manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
7. Provide remote troubleshooting, assisting clients over the phone, via email, or through remote access tools.
8. Continually update technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and external courses, reading manuals, and accessing new applications.
9. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Help Desk role or similar.
2. Proven experience with network troubleshooting, Help Desk II, Service Desk tools, Desktop Support, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and remote troubleshooting.
3. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users.
5. Strong customer service skills, with a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
7. Relevant IT certifications would be considered an asset.
8. A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
