Microelectronic repair technician
Role Summary:
The Electronics Repair Technician plays a crucial role in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic equipment (miners) and devices within our organization. Position Details:
This is a full-time opportunity with working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, following the terms outlined in the 1099 independent contractor agreement. The compensation for this role falls within a competitive salary range of $20 to $25 per hour, which will be determined based on the scope of work agreed upon in the contract.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic equipment issues to identify root causes of malfunctions.
- Perform repairs and component replacements following miners' repair guidelines and safety protocols.
- Conduct tests and quality checks on repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Keep accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with the team to provide technical support and solutions for equipment-related challenges.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to diagnose issues accurately.
- Technical proficiency in electronic systems, circuits, and components.
- Relevant education, such as an electronics technician diploma or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining electronic equipment is a plus.
- Relevant certifications or training courses in electronics repair are advantageous.
