Compensation: $35-$45,000 / yearly Commensurate with experience

Job Description:

The ideal candidate is a versatile team player ready to learn new techniques and processes, quick on their feet, and is always ready to experiment and problem solve. This position requires an individual who can work within strict deadlines and show grace under pressure.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

● Assisting the Studio Manager with mixing color, matching color to strict standards, working off of formulas

● Documentation of workflow and time management

● Production setup and cleanup

● Preparing incoming and outgoing shipments, inspecting incoming goods

● Maintaining sample stock and filling sample requests

● Keeping track of studio supplies and inventory

● Maintaining warehouse and studio organization

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree (art concentration a plus)

- Experience with industrial sewing machines and machine maintenance a plus

- Excellent color sense

- High attention to detail in written work and when working with hands

- Creative professional who is detail-oriented, flexible, and enjoys teamwork

- Excellent organizational, process, and communication skills

- Proficiency in Studio Art/Painting and Printmaking/Color

- Passion for paint, color, and experimentation

- Strong math skills, involving fractions, percentages, and ratio

- Physically fit, able to lift 50lbs, work on feet all day, while maintaining a quick pace in execution of all tasks

- Preferred additional skills: production experience, textile experience, sewing, ironing, mat cutting, PC literate, MS Office, Adobe Photoshop a plus
