An award-winning Architecture + Design Firm in lower Manhattan is seeking an Operations Assistant to join our team of 100+ employees. The ideal candidate has 1-2+ years of administrative experience and is able to “wear many hats.” This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Teaming up with the receptionist to ensure office is running smoothly each day
- Providing administrative support
- Managing calendars and scheduling appointments
- Assisting financial team with simple data entry tasks
- Point of contact between office staff and off-site IT company
- Assisting IT team with simple on-site tasks
- Ad hoc tasks and projects
The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Positive and friendly attitude, "no job too-big or too-small" mentality
- Great team player
- Computer/tech savvy
- Interested in IT
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Adobe, InDesign, Photoshop a huge plus.
- Quick learner
- Ability to multi-task under pressure
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Strong communication skills

Salary Range: $55K-$70K (dependent on experience)
***It is important to note that, while we are an architecture firm, this is not a design position; however, you will work closely with the studio staff and principals. Applicants who have previous experience within design firms will be given higher consideration.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
