Job description

Since 1978, ACS Technologies (“ACST”) has served the faith-based community, building software to help ministries lead with less stress and more accuracy. ACST enables churches to handle every vital area of their ministry from finances to relationships. We're now the leader in the industry but we've got more work to do, and we need the right talent on board to help with our mission of serving churches with tomorrow's technology.

Working with minimal direction, the Territory Account Manager builds successful relationships through account development, referral networking and creating self-generated business leads. The Territory Account Manager identifies customer and prospective customer needs using selling techniques and product knowledge to pair them with the appropriate ACST product(s). Primarily, this role will be selling and promoting the Higher Ground Managed IT suite of products and services.

What You’ll Do:
  • Proactively, through outbound calls, identify and engage with potential clients to understand their technology needs and challenges.

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' existing IT infrastructure and business processes to tailor comprehensive solutions that align with their objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with our technical team to develop and present compelling proposals and demonstrations showcasing our services' value.
  • Drive the sales process from initial contact through contract negotiation and closing, ensuring a seamless transition to our implementation and support teams.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to effectively position our services in the marketplace.

What We’re Looking For:
  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • 3-5 years of proven track record of success in technical sales, preferably within the IT services or telecommunications industry.
  • Strong understanding of/experience with IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity principles, and VoIP phone systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to employ self-directed work habits, exhibits initiative, drive, self-assurance and professionalism
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills related to account management and sales generation/promotion.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and SalesForce able to quickly learn other software programs.
