Job Description
Territory Account Managers are sales professionals who take entrepreneurial responsibility for the development and maintenance of customer relationships in an assigned territory. They are expected to prospect their territory; manage the existing customers; and generate increased revenue year after year. These managers develop an in depth understanding of our customers’ manufacturing processes and work to position themselves as a resource to the daily needs our customers encounter related to assembly, quality and ergonomics. The following sales strategies are considered core competencies: strategic-partner selling, cross-selling, consultative selling, solution-based selling and fanatical prospecting. It is the job of the TAM to ensure that customers receive the requested services / products; expectations are achieved; and a high metric of satisfaction is yielded. They are the stewards to long-term account relationships.
Headquartered outside Raleigh, North Carolina, IMS has Territory Account Managers positioned strategically covering VA, NC, SC and GA. From our fully equipped Service Facility in Youngsville, NC, we offer repair of pneumatic, DC electric, and battery tools. We also provide torque certification services utilizing equipment traceable to NIST standards.
