Job Description
A local property management company is looking for a short term Data Entry/AP Clerk to support their finance department for approximately three to six months. The ideal candidate will have computer and organizational skills and previous Accounts Payable experience.
Data Entry AP Clerk Responsibilities:
- Processing and computer input for payments
- Matching receivers
- Invoices and purchase orders
- Checks for proper approval and processes invoices on contract progress payments
- Checks all coding and extensions
- Follows up with vendors and/or other departments to correct discrepancies
- Reconciles statements
- Notifies vendors of debit balances due
- Prepares immediate pay checks
- Assists with accrual journal entries
- Researches stale dated checks and follows up with letters to the payees
- Processes 1099’s and other governmental forms related to Accounts Payable
The hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm and the pay is $22.50/hour.
