The Telesales & Account Manager plays a crucial role in generating revenue for the company through effective sales strategies and building and maintaining relationships with clients. This position involves a combination of proactive sales activities over the phone and account management responsibilities.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct Outbound Calls: Initiate outbound calls to prospective clients to introduce products or services, identify their needs, and qualify leads for sales opportunities.
- Lead Generation: Use various lead generation techniques to identify potential customers, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach.
- Sales Pitch: Present products or services persuasively to potential customers, highlighting key features and benefits to meet their needs.
- Negotiation: Negotiate terms of sale, pricing, and contracts with clients to close deals effectively while ensuring profitability for the company.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to foster long-term partnerships and repeat business.
- Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing any inquiries, issues, or requests promptly and effectively.
- Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services to existing clients to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Sales Reporting: Keep detailed records of sales activities, including calls made, leads generated, and deals closed, and provide regular reports to management on sales performance.
- Customer Feedback: Gather feedback from clients regarding products or services and communicate insights to the relevant departments to drive product improvements or enhancements.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adapt sales strategies and tactics accordingly.
- Achieve Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas set by the company, demonstrating a results-driven approach to sales and account management.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other sales team members, as well as marketing, product development, and customer support teams, to ensure a cohesive approach to customer engagement and satisfaction.
