Job Summary:

- If workstation is located at the lobby, answer all overflow telephone calls made to the main hospital telephone number in the same manner as working in the Telephone Communication Console Room.
- Operates and assists with other related equipment in the Telephone Communications Console Room and/or at the Lobby Information Desks.
- Provides information for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- 2 years previous experience as a telephone switchboard operator preferred
- High School graduate or equivalent required
- Good interpersonal/communications skills.
- Some computer knowledge
- MUST be able to work Swing shift: 1st 2nd & 3rd shift. MUST be flexable to move across different shifts, depending on departmental needs (will train on all three shifts) & Must be able to work every other weekend and rotate holidays
- Bilingual or multilingual person preferred.
