Position Overview:
Are you energized by helping uncover solutions to real world problems?🧐 As a Technical Writeryou will be responsible for creating, enhancing, and maintaining formal technical documentation supplied by the team internally and externally. Creating content in both written and audiovisual formats, you will work alongside software engineers, product and project managers, operations staff, and production support engineers to fully comprehend enterprise-level transactional software and processes.
You will be a vital member of a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment. You will have experience writing business requirements for software development as well as with updating large documentation sets with detailed technical information.
As a member of Product Team, you'll play a key role in the ideation, development and launch of our solutions. Your deep understanding of client needs and out-of-the-box thinking will be vital in shaping our product vision and strategy. We're looking for team members who have a strong technical background, can quickly break down complex problems and deliver creative solutions to ensure product success🚀.
Location: United States; then, you choose what works for you! This role can be performed 100% remotely anywhere in the US, at one of our office locations, or a hybrid version of in-office and remote.

What you'll be working on:
- Create and managing document templates
- Research and document new product enhancements, including use cases and technical requirements based on the technical design
- Create technical documentation that includes, but is not limited to: Process Documentation, API Documentation, User Manuals, Installation, Configuration, and Deployment related Documentation, Product Features, Application updates for both internal and external stakeholders, Training Materials, Knowledge Base articles, Release Notes
- Application text content (Online Help etc.)
- Enhance the quality of existing written materials by providing edits to address grammar, syntax, professionalism, consistency, clarity, impact, and overall customer focus consistent with company guidelines
- Identify best practices, formats, and systems for documentation and training delivery
- Ensure that each department-generated document is customer-focused, clear, concise, compliant, consistent, and in accordance with company and departmental guidelines
- Review and edit department-generated materials for quality assurance, seeking maximum effectiveness of the final product
- Transform technical specifications into easy-to-understand documentation
- Ensure that all assigned documentation is clear, concise, polished, and organized and that it is stored where it can be located and easily retrieved by the appropriate audiences
- Identify tools to deploy and manage the document and assets versioning process
- Support online/website training content
What you bring to the role:
- 3+ years' experience writing technical documentation for software and applications
- BS or BA degree (preferably: Science or computing due to technical nature of work)
- Strong Microsoft office skills (Word/Excel etc.)
- Experience using Visio for process and logical diagramming
- Experience creating online help tools
- Ability to create content for different audiences
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are vital
- Ability to present training materials to an audience that consists of internal and external customers
- Previous experience with XML

- Formal technical authoring qualification/membership (e.g. STC Certified Professional Technical Writer)
- Multimedia/graphical experience (PowerPoint/video etc.)
- Software analysis experience
