About this role
This role is within the Value Digital / Customer Experience team where we create and improve digitally-led experiences for our customers, striving for reliable, simple, exceptional world-class journeys.
As part of Visible’s Experience Design team, this role will be responsible for overseeing and developing technical content across a project life cycle within the Onboarding and Support Management pillars.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Shaping product experiences by creating useful, meaningful technical text and documents that help users complete the task at hand

  • Identifying opportunities to improve workflows and efficiency for developing language within products that meet business and member needs

  • Working on multiple projects prioritizing them according to project needs, level of effort of tasks and project timelines

  • Taking a user-centered design approach and rapidly testing and iterating your content solutions.

  • Collaborating with Experience Designers, Engineering and Experience Managers to define and drive user-centered experiences

  • Asking smart questions, taking risks and championing new ideas.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Working knowledge of UX software such as Figma, Balsamiq, Framer, Sketch.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders

  • Advanced knowledge of effective writing and editing

  • 3-5 years of UX writing experience; Must have an online portfolio to be considered. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.

  • A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.

  • Experience defining and leading process improvements for content management.

  • Develops content governance guidelines for tone, style, and voice of all content, and ensures they are followed.

  • Ability to originate new concepts, strategies or innovative approaches to user experience messaging that have significant impact.

Where you’ll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington work location, the compensation range for this position is between $103,000.00 and $191,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
