Role: Technical Writer
Travel Required: Yes
Location: Seattle, WA(Remote)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Information Science, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience as a Technical Writer.
Strong understanding of information management concepts, data governance, and documentation best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Proficiency in technical writing tools and software.
Experience with GitHub or other content management systems.
Experience with work item tracking such as with DevOps for JIRA.
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Your responsibilities in this role will include:
You will be responsible for a wide range of cutting-edge technical content that customer success agents use to implement cloud and on-prem solutions for enterprise customers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, business analysts, project managers, subject matter experts and other stakeholders. As you gather information and understand management requirements, you'll be expected to add value and mature content with adherence to high quality standards.
The content that you will be responsible for comprises developer guides, slide presentations, training materials, workshop guidance, reference materials, and internal documentation. You will be expected to create, review, and edit documentation with accuracy and consistency. Your content must meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal best practices.
You will work with colleagues around the world and have the flexibility to attend online meetings as early as 7am to accommodate Europe and Asia. These meetings include frequent SCRUM sessions to report on your work items.
