About this Position:
Deliver Technical Training to Honda and Acura automobiles dealership service personnel through assigned training center and in-dealer training while promoting Lifetime Owner Loyalty. Maintain equipment, vehicles, and facility to high standards. Training and maintenance must be in alignment with all Honda, State, and Federal standards, policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory mandates. As a training expert, analyze training needs of districts, dealers, and technicians and make appropriate recommendations.
Responsibilities include:
• Review provided service information drafts for technical accuracy and correct formatting.
• Training Delivery - deliver Technical Training to dealer service personnel trrough assigned training center and in-dealer traing by the following:
• Ensure Dealer Repair Certifications are met on a montly basis and fiscal year to date
• Ensure Dealer Diagnostic Certifications are met on a montly basis and fiscal year to date
• Ensure Individual Repair Certifications are met on a montly basis and fiscal year to date
• Ensure Individual Diagnostic Certifications are met on a montly basis and fiscal year to date
• Facility Maintenance
• Make sure all the training center vehicles are bugged and ready for the technicians to diagnose the vehicle
• Make sure all of the necessary tools are available and ready for each day for technicians to use
• Maintain all vehicles and training center equipment
• Maintain professional association
• Provide advice and support in the development of automovtive Technical Training module
• Accountable for the quality of training provided to our Honda/Acura technician
• Special Project
Qualifications
Who we are seeking:
We are looking for qualified people and diverse background and experiences, open minds, and a disciplined work ethic, to bring the future to Honda.
Required Work Experience:
• Secondary / post secondary automotive instructor
• Automotive service technician
• Strong background in technical automotive field with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Required Education:
• BA / BS Automotive, Industrial, Education, Busine
• AA Automotive, Industrial, Business, Education
Desired skills:
• Computer skills (POWERPOINT, EXCEL, WORD)
• Presentation skill
